Compare the trade-offs

The best card is the one that fits your actual spending route

Start with availability in your country and the asset you already hold. A card with a high reward rate is not useful if its KYC, funding method, payment network, or jurisdiction excludes you.

Then compare the total cost of one realistic month: funding, conversion, monthly, foreign-exchange, and withdrawal fees. Finally, verify how rewards are paid, whether they are capped, and whether the benefit still outweighs any paid tier.

A useful comparison follows the money

Filter availability first

Compare only cards that accept your residency, identity documents, preferred asset, and funding route. This removes attractive-looking options that cannot actually be opened or used where you live.

Use the same spending scenario

Put each card through one realistic month of purchases. Include recurring charges, foreign transactions, ATM use if relevant, and the cost of moving assets into the card account before comparing the result.

Separate facts from preferences

Fees, limits, and country availability are facts to verify. Whether you value self-custody, a virtual card, stablecoin support, or premium rewards is personal. A good comparison makes both sides explicit.
